Suriya hints for joining Thalapathy 67? Fans elated with this skeptical touch from the actor

In the final five minutes of Vikram, the film's main protagonist, Rolex, made a brief cameo but captivated the audience with his charisma and prowess, and he became a powerful antagonist of 2022.  Director Lokesh Kanagaraj's exciting collaboration with South's leading stars has already attracted a sizable fan base. And the last viral trend on social media about the buzz of Suriya in Thalapathy67, and it surprisingly started from the actor.

This latter will commence shooting of Thalapathy67 with Vijay soon as per reports. As soon as fans saw the universe concept in his latest Kamal starrer Vikram, they began making wild guesses on social media about cameo appearances by Kamal, Suriya, and Karthi respectively, in Thalapathy67. The fire was fanned further when Suriya liked a tweet about the tempting project Thalapathy67. Fans are now wondering if Suriya will join Vijay in the upcoming movie.

The buzz started after Rolex actor unexpectedly liked a recent viral video featuring an interview with Trisha in which she discusses her role in the film Thalapathy 67. However, quick-witted fans figured out the codeword and viraled on the social media. However, Suriya has unliked the post and now appears to be waiting for the makers to make the big announcement. Notably, if Suriya signs on for 'Thalapathy 67,' it will mark the actor's reunion with his 'Friends' co-star Vijay after 21 years.

This film, according to Lokesh, will be an action film in the vein of Kaithi, minus the songs. There will be no romantic subplots or songs in Thalapathy 67, making it the first Vijay film to do so. As a side note, it's worth noting that actor Naren has confirmed that his upcoming role as Thalapathy 67 will take place in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe.

It's been said that Vijay will play a gangster in the upcoming action drama "Thalapathy 67," which is expected to be action-packed.  Officially, the roles of Gautham Menon and Mansoor Ali Khan in "Thalapathy 67" have been confirmed, and Sanjay Dutt, Arun Sarj, Trisha,   are rumoured to play pivotal roles in the film as well.
