Sudha Kongara, the maker of 'Soorarai Potru' with the brisk and fresh victorious glory after sweeping five National awards for best actor, actress, screenplay, best feature film, and best music, quietly spilled the beans about her next venture with Surya, and it's based on the gangster action genre.

In a 'Red Carpet' show of Indiaglitz anchored by Sreedhar Pillai, a film trade analyst, and critic, Sudha Kongara was questioned on her next project and about the actor, "Coming to your next film, what's it? Is it Surya 43? When is that coming?". The filmmaker replied ''Yeah. I don't know. Once I finish my Hindi, and once he finishes his commitments. Very soon. Not too far off."

She also said that there are no dates fixed yet. Sreedhar Pillai further queried whether the #Suriya43 is a Pan-Indian flick or not. Sudha replied that Like 'Soorarai Potru', 'Irudhi Sutru' is not a Pan Indian movie, her next will also be the same and added that she won't intentionally write Pan Indian stories.

Sudha Kongara is presently busy with the Hindi adaptation of 'Soorarai Potru' post-production works as per the latest statement in a press meet. The latest buzz is that Sudha Kongara's next #Suriya43 will be based on real-life events that follow a raw period gangster drama, it's a speculation, but the maker is still tight-lipped about it.

She also confirmed a project with Hombale films, a production company popularly known for its KGF Franchise, and having an interesting project in which the story is close to her heart, is about the first three women doctors in South India, set in the 1920s-40s. On the other hand, Suriya is currently in the outing with popular director Vetrimaaran for the movie 'Vaadivaasal'.
