The Ulaganayagan of Tamil cinema, Kamal Haasan, has surprised his fans with a announcement promo of his 237th film, which will be helmed by the action choreographers Anbumani and Arivumani, popularly known as Anbariv. The film, which is tentatively titled as KH237, will be produced by Raaj Kamal Films International and is expected to go on floors in 2025.

The teaser video, which was shared by Kamal Haasan on his social media handles, shows nothing but a glimpse of his intense eyes, accompanied by a high-octane background score. The video also reveals that the music director and the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be announced. Kamal Haasan wrote, “Proud to add two proven talents in their new avatar as directors for #KH237. Slay it, Masters Anbariv. Welcome to Raaj Kamal Films International again.”

Anbariv are known for their stunning stunt sequences in films like Madras, Kabali, Kaala, KGF, and Master. They have also worked with Kamal Haasan in his upcoming films Vikram and Indian 2, which are directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and Shankar respectively. Anbariv are also currently working on Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus Thug Life.

Kamal Haasan, who is also a politician and the founder of Makkal Needhi Maiam party, has a busy schedule ahead of him. He will be seen next in Indian 2, which is a sequel to his 1996 blockbuster Indian. He is also simultaneously working on Indian 3, which is said to be the final installment of the franchise.

He has also signed KH233, which will be directed by H.Vinoth of Nerkonda Paarvai fame. However, the project is reportedly put on hold as Kamal Haasan wants to focus on Thug Life, which is his dream project. He will also be seen in a sci-fi thriller titled Kalki 2898 AD, which is slated to release on May 9, 2024.
