Surprise Update: Jawan to launch a special event in Chennai and this Kollywood icon to grace the event!

Thalapathy Vijay, is all set to join hands with the king of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, for the upcoming action thriller film Jawan. The film, directed by Atlee, who has previously worked with Vijay in three blockbuster films, is one of the most awaited releases of 2023.

While it was already confirmed that Vijay will be making a cameo appearance in the film as a dedicated police officer, the latest buzz is that he will also be part of the film’s promotions in Chennai. According to sources, Vijay will be attending a special event for Jawan in Chennai along with Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and other cast and crew members.

The event is expected to take place in the first week of September, ahead of the film’s release on September 7. The fans of both Vijay and Shah Rukh Khan are eagerly waiting for this grand occasion, which will surely create a lot of hype and excitement for the film.

Jawan is a Hindi-language film that will also be released in Tamil and Telugu. The film features Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role, opposite Nayanthara as the female lead. Vijay Sethupathi plays the role of the antagonist, while Deepika Padukone, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra and others have important roles.

The film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who has also collaborated with Vijay in several films. The film’s songs, Hayyoda and Vandha Edam, have already become chartbusters and have received rave reviews from the listeners.

Jawan is produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment and is said to be made on a budget of ₹ 300 crore. The film is expected to be a visual spectacle with high-octane action sequences and stunning cinematography by G. K. Vishnu.

The film will also mark the first Hindi film for both Atlee and Vijay, who have a huge fan following across India and abroad. Jawan is slated to hit the screens on September 7, 2023, coinciding with Janmashtami.
