The minister's office has denied that he had threatened to slap the man. His office has maintained by claiming that the minister was castigating the man for using expletive words. 

This has been the condition of major hospitals as the antidote to fix the oxygen crisis in Delhi is not in sight, pushing the government to a dreadful challenge in treating the patients.

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta had informed the nation's top judicial body that the Sterlite Copper plant can be allowed to function to meet the rising need for oxygen. 

In his tribute note, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote, "Condolences to Shri Sitaram Yechury Ji and his family on the tragic and untimely demise of his son, Ashish. Om Shanti."

Amid such development, the Central government had diverted the oxygen to Tamil Nadu's neighbors without consulting the state government. 

The incident has happened in the night hours of Monday and the police had launched a probe, and the body of the deceased was sent to the autopsy. 

With the Central government's recent gateway to the open market, the Covishield maker has increased the price to double the current amount to the private hospitals.

Jharkhand state government has on Tuesday announced the lockdown in the state from April 22 to April 29 to curb the spread of the pandemic amid the exponential rise of cases.

The spike in death toll has surfaced a major concern across the nation and the health ministry said that more than 70 percent of the deaths had occurred due to comorbidities.

The private hospitals have also been directed to follow the protocols of the Central government and submit a daily report to the authorities.
