Edappadi Palaniswami has condemned the DVAC raids against the two former ministers and alleged that the DMK government is framing false cases against the ADMK leaders.
The agency has raided several former ADMK ministers under various corruption charges and in the latest episode, two former ADMK ministers SP Velumani and C Vijayabaskar have come under the scanner.
DVAC officials are also been conducting raids at the residence of Pappireddipatti ADMK MLA Govindhasamy, who is a close associate of the former minister.
The sleuths had stormed into the properties that belong to Thangamani, a day after filing an FIR against him with the shocking revelations over his pile of wealth.
The authorities of DVAC had conducted searches at 28 places that are linked to Veeramani, who served as the Tamil Nadu Minister for Commercial Taxes in the previous Edappadi Palaniswami regime.
