India has reported about 60 positive cases on Friday and the country has recorded four casualties so far due to the pandemic.

These beaches have been on the list of top destinations for the weekend and it would account for larger footfalls which would reduce the social distancing.

While the state has been facing severe lockdown to contain the spread of the Coronavirus, it was largely anticipated that the tenth board exams would be deferred due to the epidemic. 

Many states including Tamil Nadu had suspended bus and metro rail services as part of Janata curfew with the view of practicing social distancing and avoiding mass gatherings.

Janata Curfew is the measure announced by Prime Minister Modi to practice social distancing and avoid mass gatherings to contain the rapid spread.
