Responding to the defeat, KL Rahul said, "I think its quite obvious - the reasons why we didn't win. We let ourselves down in the field. Dropping easy catches never helps."

With the second defeat in the row, CSK is all set to take on the Punjab Kings on April 3, and of course, in the same Brabourne Stadium. 

While Lucknow is going to miss all-rounder Jason Holder again, CSK will be welcoming Moeen Ali for the first time in the tournament and he will be replacing Mitchell Santner.
