During the meeting with the representatives of the political parties and health experts, the Chief Minister had expressed his displeasure over the violations of the government guidelines and restrictions in the state.

It must be noted that Health Secretary Radhakrishnan has said that Tamil Nadu will witness a peak of COVID-19 at the end of May. 

The Stalin administration has permitted the former Chief Minister to be a tenant of the government's residence after his request to continue his stay. 

The current tenure of the lockdown comes to an end by May 24 and Chief Minister MK Stalin will be convening the meeting with a top committee that was formed recently. 

Along with providing the government jobs, Stalin has on Friday ordered to withdraw the police cases filed against the protesters during the demonstrations in Thoothukudi. 

The objective of the government is to prioritize vaccination of high-risk groups and industrial workers in the initial phase of the state's vaccination drive.

His criticism has come when the state government inches close to convene a meet with the authorities and experts on whether the lockdown must be extended after May 24. 

He outlined, "These seven persons have already suffered untold hardship and agony in the past three decades and have paid a heavy price."

Chief Minister MK Stalin has appealed to the public to aid the government financially last week in its efforts to arrest the spread and augment the medical infrastructure in the state. 

The Chief Minister has considered her appeal and the official release from the government has said that Perarivalan has been granted 30-day ordinary leave.
