Congress leader Kapil Sabil said that the encounter was already predicted by many and asked whether the killing was done to conceal his political nexus.

Commenting on the encounter, Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said that the vehicle didn't overturn, the government was prevented from being overturned.
