The central agency has thrown a big bombshell at him as the agency's latest submission in the court has brought one of the shocking scams of Tamil Nadu back to the spotlight.

The agency has raided several former ADMK ministers under various corruption charges and in the latest episode, two former ADMK ministers SP Velumani and C Vijayabaskar have come under the scanner.

The illegal trading of drugs continued in the state and raids were conducted by income tax department and found the documents from former IPS officials and former ministers, Tamil Nadu former police were involved in taking bribes to promote seamless commodity of banned tobacco products in the city, and followingly the scam came to light on July 8, 2017.
