The tale of spiritual godman- From LIC agent to Vishnu's avatar!

One of the well renowned and self styled god-man Kalki Bhagwan has been under the lens of the Income tax department for the second straight day where the Income tax officers from Tamil Nadu had sieved and raided the premises of ashram under the grounds of suspecting the possibilities of tax evasion.

The reports say that the authorities of IT department had stormed in his ashram premises in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Telangana in which his main ashram in Chittoor hadn't missed out from the lens of raids and the officials from Income tax had cited that following the series of raids in his ashram, they had seized and recovered multiple documents that had justified the suspicious mechanisms of tax evasion and allegations of overseas donations and adding to that, the spiritual organization has also been accused with illegal land acquisitions.

Apart raiding his spiritual grounds, the Income tax had staged the fierce raids in the house and offices of God-man's son Krishna in Hyderabad since yesterday and they had divided into many teams and flagged their raids in nearly about 40 places close to his son and his ashram with accord to the alleged breach of taxation. Of those 40 places, the IT team had sieved the office premises in Thousand lights area of Chennai and in Tiruvallur district.

The reports had stated that the ongoing raids had exposed numerous documents from the ashram, its branches and from the business entities of God-man's son that revealed the allegations of money laundering and dodging of taxes where through the evaded money, they had allegedly acquired illegal lands and invested in foreign countries. The authorities had indicated that they had largely done a cash transactions without getting into online or banking services that had aided them to get rid off the virtual lenses of the income tax department.

The sources close to the raids had furnished that the since yesterday, the authorities had recovered about Rs 33 crores that were intentionally went uncovered while filing taxes and adding to that, they had seized important documents that had disclosed the profiles of his investments and further claimed that the authorities will uncover more allegations as the raids have been going on for the entire day.

Vijay Kumar, who himself changed his name as 'Kalki Bhagwan' was born on 1949 in Tamil Nadu's Vellore district to an Andhra Pradesh family and raised and educated in Chennai after which he had started his life as an employee of Life Insurance Corporation in 1971 where during his employment , he was attracted by the philosophies of J Krishnamoorthy that had seeded his life towards spirituality after which he cemented his spiritual edition and by 1989, he had claimed to be transferred as 'bhagwan' by labeling himself as an avatar of Lord Vishnu by proclaiming to have supernatural powers after which he had got several devotees including celebrities, politicians and film stars where most of them had consistently visited the ashram in Chittoor to worship the God-man, who has been strongly criticized by the local people on allegedly grabbing their lands to set up his ashram.

Keeping the accusations aside, he had proclaimed himself as a disciple of Lord Vishnu following which his wife Padmavathi had transformed and renamed as 'Amma Bhagwan' and by successfully cementing their first spiritual ashram, they had enhanced their roots in the neighboring states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka that had initially brought in more followers and devotees that had led Kalki Bhagwan to establish 'Oneness University' in Chennai. His swift raise in the spiritual grounds had certainly seen him as an avatar of Lord Vishnu where the Bollywood stars like Shilpa Shetty, Hrithik roshan had named him as their spiritual guru. While attaining massive developments on one hand, he had also been accompanied by allegations and accusations where at one stage, he demanded his devotees to rain the money on him as he had asked Rs 50,000 from a devotee to approach him and to get his wishes and he charged Rs 10,000 per devotee for worship his foot while his disciples in ashram had received exorbitant funds for performing 'Pooja' for devotees and some of his disciples in ashram were accused with supplying drugs to the devotees from other countries but however, despite of series of litigation, controversies and allegations, he has been admired, worshiped by more than thousands of people as their spiritual guru.

While Kalki Bhagwan had transformed him as a living god, his son was reportedly rained by his fatherly god where he had invested in various businesses and breached the line of filing taxes since 2012 where the income tax department has been flagging multiple allegations against his son Krishna that had now led to unleash their raids in about 40 places across the nation.

Through his successful edition as God-man, Kalki Bhagwan has been splitting the money that was rained on his ashram by his devotees where in Andhra Pradesh, he had acquired about 5000 acres of land, bought hundreds of assets in the states like Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, constructed 'Oneness University' that had collectively made his spiritual face with the worth of Rs 1000 crores and apart from mounting assets through devotees, his son had installed his business empire from Los Angeles to Bangalore in the form of construction companies where all these assets have now brought under the drones of IT department which has been working to figure out the real value and worth of the spiritual and business empires that were planted and watered by the hope and real worship of the devotees and followers.
