The ardent fans of Vijay are eagerly waiting for the Varisu promotional works to begin and they wait with bated breath for the movie's audio launch event of their idol's next. Now, the latest hot buzz in the Tamil media circle is that the audio launch of 'Varisu' will be held in a grand affair. It is expected to be a star-studded affair as fans and the film's team are coming together for this event. 

Last week, the first single of the film was released. Titled ‘Ranjithame’, the song received great views shortly after it was released, reaching 40 million views and still rocking the fans' playlist. With every update, fans are getting even and even more excited about the film’s release. Now, in what has become the talk of the town, there is a report that the film is set to have its Audio Launch on December 24 at Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai.  While these are just speculations, the official announcement is yet to be made. 

Vijay's speech will be usually the prime topic of the audio launch, where it has become a key feed to internet virality among the netizens. As word spread about the venue and date of the audio launch, fans went wild to see their idol take the stage. Producers Dil Raju and Shirish are bankrolling Varisu under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations while the movie is directed by Vamshi Paidapally. 

Along with Vijay and Rashmika, who play the lead roles, Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Sham, Yogi Babu, Sangeeta, Samyukta, Khushbu are the supporting cast of the film. Hari and Ashishore Solomon, Vivek have written the story & additional screenplay. Music and cinematography are handled by S Thaman and Karthik Palani respectively.

KL Praveen serves as the cinematographer. The final phase of the film, which is made in Tamil & Telugu, started a few weeks ago in Chennai. Varisu has been slated for a theatrical release during Pongal 2023 and interestingly, it will clash with Ajith's 'Thunivu' which will also be released during the same period.
