Target 2024: MK Stalin instills a big appeal in the DMK cadres to triumph in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls!

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President MK Stalin has instilled a big appeal to the party cadres as he locked the target on the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. DMK, which currently enjoys the tag of one of the largest parties in the Parliament, is beefing up its game to have a landslide triumph in the general elections. With the historical victory in the last general elections and with the reign in Tamil Nadu, DMK is aiming to fully secure the state in the 2024 polls.

Stalin's words were reflective of this aim as he urged the party functionaries to concentrate on the polls to bag all the Lok Sabha constituencies in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. While Tamil Nadu has 39 Lok Sabha seats, Puducherry had one and in 2019, DMK alliance had secured 38 seats in Tamil Nadu. As the days for next Lok Sabha polls are being counted, the time has come for the state and national political parties to prepare to take on their rivals in one of the biggest electoral celebrations in the world.

MK Stalin was addressing in a party's event that was held in Coimbatore on Saturday during which he gave a robust speech to the cadres. Stalin urged the party workers to strive to win all 40 seats in the 2024 assembly polls. He appealed the cadres to work hard to win all the seats by citing that the people have a clear mandate to the DMK-led Secular Democratic Alliance (SDA) in the recently-held Erode East bypoll.

Stalin said that the landslide victory in the Erode East bypoll was a reflection of the good governance and schemes given to the people of Tamil Nadu. By claiming that some parties are attempting to stir confusion and instigate violence in the name of caste and religion and also trying to topple the DMK government, MK Stalin asserted that the alliance triumphing all the 40 seats would be befitting reply to them.

He said that the DMK would work for the victory of alliance partners in other states. MK Stalin stated that DMK was founded not to be in power, but to serve the poor, downtrodden and farmers. He cited that the party had faced a pile of dismissals, obstacles, and ups and downs before coming to power for a sixth time in 2021. During the event, over 4,000 people from various political parties including ADMK and DMDK have joined DMK in the presence of MK Stalin.
