Thala 61 and Valimai...Big treat awaits Ajith fans: Which will be served first?

The ardent fans of Thala Ajith have celebrated the much-awaited 'Valimai' update in style and now one more sweet for them that made them happier and at the same time poured major expectations. While Valimai is moving forward for the release, the talks for Ajith's next 'Thala 61' are on the cards with reports close to the developments say that Ajith will be directed again by Vinoth Kumar for the third time, after 'Nerkonda Paarvai' and 'Valimai'.

It has been reported that Thala 61 will be produced by Boney Kapoor, who had bankrolled 'Nerkonda Paarvai' and 'Valimai'. The fans have gone crazy over the reports that Thala 61 has come to the cards as a double-treat to celebrate the actor. The fans have been trending the hashtag #Thala61 on social media with more speculations and predictions for Thala 61. Though there has been no official announcement over Thala 61, the fans had begun to predict the crew for Ajith's next movie.

Some of the reports had suggested that talks were complete for Thala 61 and Ajith will be directed again by H Vinoth for the third time. The fans are now debating on social media on who will be the music director for Thala 61 with some of them saying that Anirudh will possibly win to score the music for Thala 61. If everything goes by the plan, the movie shooting will hit the floors in October and the preparations are underway to commence the shooting.

As the shooting of Valimai is going to complete soon, it has been reported that the selection process of stars and technical artists for Thala 61 has been going on and it will not be a surprise if the shooting of Thala 61 stars before the release of Valimai. It will be a significant and magical reunion of Ajith and Vinoth and even before the release of Valimai, the fans had started to celebrate the hat-trick treat from the Ajith-Vinoth combo. One of the fans wrote, "Thala is supercharged. Massive feast awaits us in 2022." In Thala 16 shooting vs Valimai release, the fans are debating which will come first.

Ajith fans have been waiting for two years for getting an update for Valimai and last week, the first look and motion posters were released and they had set the internet on the storm.  Valimai is expected to serve Ajith in a new avatar and the motion poster looks promising and would serve as a treat to the fans. The movie's oneliner 'Power is a state of mind' was trending on social media. In what has become a 'WOW' milestone, Valimai's motion posters had become the most liked posters on Youtube.

The posters had garnered over 1 million views in less than a day and it's more than enough for the Thala fans to celebrate the actor and the posters after two years of wait. Ajith was seen fierce in the motion posters and the posters had come with a promise that Valimai will be released in 2021. It looks like there will be a direct clash between Valimai and Rajinikanth's 'Annaatthe', which will be released on this year's Diwali.
While the first look posters had created a big milestone, Valimai had created two big feats even before the release of the motion posters.

Valimai's worldwide theatrical, satellite, and digital rights have been sold for around Rs 215 crore.  Significantly, the big deal is considered as one of the biggest deals accomplished by a Tamil movie even before its first look, which would give predictions over the storyline of the movie. Apart from the big business deal of Rs 215 crore, Valimai has also crossed 1 million interests on Book My Show, a leading portal to book and reserve movie tickets. These 1 million people had expressed their interest to watch Valimai and it has been reported that no other Indian film has earned the interest of this kind on Book My Show.

Produced by Boney Kapoor under the banner of Bayview Projects, Valimai is directed by H Vinoth. While Ajith plays the lead role, Huma Qureshi, Karthikeya Gummakonda, Yogi Babu, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Pavel Navageethan, and Achyuth Kumar will be playing the important roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music and as the movie is expected to get released in the second half of 2021, it has now been speculated that Valimai will most likely clash with Rajini's 'Annaatthee' during this year's Diwali.
