After the roaring success of 'Vikram', Lokesh Kanagaraj's upcoming project will seemingly break the borders with Bollywood. The successful filmmaker is going to direct Vijay again in Thalapathy 67 and the director has been building his versatile universe. In what has become a firing update, veteran Bollywood icon Sanjay Dutt will be playing villain against Vijay in Thalapathy 67. 

It's already known that Vijay will play a tough gangster in his 67th film. While the official update on Thalapathy 67 is expected to be released in October 2022, the strong words on social media are feeding the buffs with exciting cast deets since the project was opened from the makers' side. Interestingly, the film will have six villains overall, against Vijay. 

While Gautham Vasudev Menon is speculated to be one of them, Sanjay Dutt, who already proved his powerful villainous performance in KGF and Shamshera, will be part of this villainous league and through Thalapathy 67, Dutt will be making his debut in Tamil. Several reports affirm that Sanjay Dutt's cast in Thalapathy 67 is confirmed.

Dutt is equipped with a hefty price tag for this film as per the report. According to a report in Pinkvilla, the script demands the presence of multiple powerful villains and Sanjay Dutt will play one of the many baddies in this yet untitled film. Lokesh has been in conversation with Sanjay Dutt for a while now and things have finally fallen in place. The actor is been paid a gigantic amount of Rs 10 crore to act in the film. 

On the other side, Yogi Babu spilled beans with the press and media about his part in 'Thalapathy 67' as he said that Lokesh Kanagaraj had reached him through a call to be a part of this movie. In this way, it will be Yogi Babu's sixth film with Vijay. Even though the production team hasn't made any official announcements about the movie, this information is currently becoming viral online. Anirudh will be composing the music for this project, which will be produced by 7 Screen Studios while Ratnakumar will be writing the screenplay.
