Thalapathy 68 Buzz: Fans to get a double treat on Thalapathy Vijay’s birthday...

Thalapathy Vijay, who is currently busy with Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Leo, has a special surprise for his fans on his birthday. The actor has officially announced his next film, Thalapathy 68, with director Venkat Prabhu. The film will be produced by AGS Entertainment and will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

The latest exciting update is that the makers have also planned to hold a grand pooja for the film on June 22, which happens to be Vijay’s birthday, as per film sources. They may also surprise  the fans will get a glimpse of the event through photos and videos that will be released on the same day. This has created a lot of buzz among the fans. 

The film's announcement was made quite recently with a title announcement video, revealing the title logo of Thalapathy 68.  Fans were ecstatic about the news and took to social media to express their excitement.  Thalapathy 68 will mark the first time that Vijay and Venkat Prabhu will work together.

Venkat Prabhu is known for his quirky and entertaining films like Chennai 600028, Goa, Mankatha and Biriyani. He has also worked with Yuvan Shankar Raja in most of his films. According to reports, Thalapathy 68 will be an action thriller with a twist. The film will also feature SJ Suryah as the main antagonist. SJ Suryah has previously worked with Vijay as an actor in Mersal and as a director in Kushi.

Thalapathy 68 is the 25th film produced by AGS Entertainment and will mark the production house’s second collaboration with Vijay after their 2019 blockbuster Bigil. The banner said in a update, "It is our pride and privilege to collaborate again with #Thalapathy @actorvijay Sir for our 25th Film,".

Meanwhile, Vijay is awaiting the release of Leo, which is slated to hit the screens in October this year. The film also stars Trisha Krishnan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin and Priya Anand among others. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for the film.
