However, he did not mention Vijay in his tweet, which irked many fans of the star. They accused him of insulting Vijay and being ungrateful to him.

Pradeep Ranganathan clarified his tweet and said that he was wishing the team for doing a Thalapathy film, which is a pride. He asked the fans not to read between the lines and misunderstand him. He wrote, "Im wishing the team for doing a Thalapathy film . Thats a pride . Pls dont read between the lines".

Pradeep Ranganathan is currently busy with his acting and directing projects. He will be seen in a film produced by Kamal Haasan and directed by Vignesh Shivan. He will also direct and act in a film produced by AGS Entertainment. Meanwhile, Vijay is awaiting the release of Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film is slated to hit the screens on Ayudha Pooja this year.
