'They are enemies of our nation': MK Stalin scathingly attacks BJP's handicapped policy!

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has scathingly attacked the BJP's handicapped policy of annulling India's diversity and he cited those who are assaying to impose the one nation, one language, and one religion are the enemies of our nation.

MK Stalin was speaking virtually at "India 75- the state of affairs - federalism, freedom, and forward" conclave organized by Malayala Manorama in Thrissur - Kerala on Saturday - July 30, 2022. The event was attended by Stalin's Kerala counterpart Pinarayi Vijayan. Addressing the conference, MK Stalin said, "Those attempting to impose one language, one religion, and one culture are trying to destroy the integrity of the nation. They are enemies of India and its people. We should never give room to such evil forces."

By affirming that one national language and one religion were not feasible for India as there are many languages and different religious practices in the country, MK Stalin said, "We remain united despite many differences because of love and brotherhood." Speaking about the suspension of the opposition MPs from the ongoing Parliament session, the Chief Minister stated, "MPs are denied the right to speak in the Parliament, which should be a place for conflict of ideas."

As a handful of DMK lawmakers are part of the MPs who were suspended, Stalin contended that there is no right to speak in Parliament, which is a forum for voicing views. Speaking about the Centre's contentious policies of NEET and National Education Policy, MK Stalin said, "The policies of the Union government are anti-people. BJP attempts to run parallel governments through its governors. We have to govern our states even as we face all these hurdles. But I am still hopeful that the long history and brotherhood of its people will protect the country."

MK Stalin further said, "We should not consider India as a mere geographical boundary. India is not just a single government. It is a union of several state governments. The term Union is not a bad word. It is a term used by the Constitution to define India. To protect India, the states within it should be protected." Taking to Twitter, the Chief Minister wrote, "Those who impose one language, one religion, and one culture are the enemies of India's unity! You can never achieve Unity by Uniformity! The only way for India to thrive is to have Strong, Autonomous states."
