After a long wait, fans of Ajith were elated when the makers of Thunivu released the first single, Chilla Chilla, from the movie, which landed on Friday at 6.30 PM. Filmmaker H. Vinoth has written and directed Thunivu. The film is said to have three songs in total. Billed as an action thriller, Ajith plays the lead along with Manju Warrier. As the release date draws closer, the makers are all set to kick-start the promotions with the launch of the first song from the film’s music album.

Taking to Twitter on Friday evening, Boney Kapoor's Bay View Projects unveiled the song, by writing, "#ChillaChilla is finally here to rule your playlists like a BOSS! Song out now". Sharing the same, the film's composer Ghibran wrote, "It took 4088 days since I began my film career to experience this moment in 50th film Love for #AK sir has spread into my life too.Hope i have done justice as one among you இனிமேல் #ChillaChilla உங்களுடையது"

The almost four-minute song with Anirudh's voice and Ghibran's musical score has taken social media by storm. The high beats of Ghibran and the energetic voice by Anirudh are highlights of the song, which evidences the ultimate star's ever charm in the peppy steps, and the loop-worthy track is going viral in no time.

The supporting cast also includes Bigg Boss Tamil 5 stars Amir, Pavani Reddy, and Cibi Bhuvana Chandran, and it's been reported that Ajith will play a negative shade. Ghibran composed the score for the film, produced by Boney Kapoor's Bay View Projects and Zee Studios, and Zee Music owns the rights to the soundtrack for the upcoming Tamil actioner Thunivu.

The song has reportedly been penned by lyricist Vaisagh. The action thriller was written and directed by H. Vinoth and is set to hit theaters during Pongal 2023. The film is Boney Kapoor’s third consecutive collaboration with Ajith and Vinoth. Earlier, the team had worked together on Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai. Netflix has bagged the digital rights to Thunivu, while Red Giant has acquired its theatrical rights across Tamil Nadu.
