'TN BJP chief Annamalai arrived in Karnataka with large amount of cash': Shocking allegation from a Congress leader!

Senior Congress leader in Karnataka, Vinay Kumar Sorake has on Monday accused Tamil Nadu BJP chief Annamalai of arriving in the state with a huge amount of money. Sorake alleged that the money was brought in a helicopter that was carrying Annamalai and had landed in Udupi.

Karnataka is weeks ahead of the crucial assembly polls and BJP, which aims to retain its reign, has appointed Annamalai as one of the party's in-charges for the state. To carry out the election works in Karnataka, Annamalai has arrived in Udupi in a chopper, which has now sparked political furore. Congress leader Sorake has made shocking allegations that a huge amount of cash has arrived in a helicopter that carried Annamalai.

Sorake, who is contesting from the Kaup constituency, said that the party has informed the matter to the election officials. Sorake was speaking after releasing the party manifesto at the Udupi Congress Bhavan prior to the nomination filing of Congress candidate from Udupi, Prasad Raj Kanchan.

Sorake further said that the BJP could have won the last elections from the coastal district with the help of false political propaganda and claimed that such calculation will not work this time. Responding to the allegation, Annamalai said, "They (Congress) are considering everyone like them. I am common man and our ideology is different to that of Congress. I travelled in helicopter to save time and as our victory has become certain, they are making baseless allegations."
