TN CM EPS is now a 'Paul Harris Fellow', conferred with honor from the US! Here's why

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami has been conferred with recognition from the US-based Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.

Tamil Nadu Information Minister Kadambur Raju has confirmed the development on Friday that the Chief Minister has been honored by the US-based organization headquartered in Chicago for discharging efficient services.

The press release issued by the government said that the Chief Minister has been honored with 'Paul Harris Fellow' recognition by the organization for rendering efficient services in providing drinking water, sanitation, working for the environment, preventing the diseases, and world peace.

The press release further stated that the Rotary Foundation has been conferring 'Paul Harris Fellow' recognition to people to honor their services in providing proper sanitation and access to water, and working for the environment, preventing the diseases, and world peace. 

In line with that, the foundation has commended the services rendered by Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami to its people, and to honor his services, it has bestowed the 'Paul Harris Fellow' award.

According to the reports, Former US President Jimmy Carter, Russian President Boris Yeltsin, and UN Secretary-General Javier Perez de Cuellar have been conferred with the 'Paul Harris Fellow' recognition.
