Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister and ADMK's Chief-coordinator Panneerselvam has been admitted to the private hospital in Chennai on Sunday night, reports say.

Amid the speculations on the sudden hospitalization, the reports close to the developments have stated that the Deputy Chief Minister has been admitted for regular medical examinations. 

He would be getting discharged from the hospital in the evening hours of Monday after the completion of the treatment. 

Panneerselvam has been admitted at the MGM Hospital in Nelson Manickam road in the city and has been undergoing treatment and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami would be meeting the hospitalized leader in the hospital.

The reports close to the developments asserted that the leader is doing fine and will be returning home on Monday.
