Sengottaiyan further stated that all the schools, including private schools, will be monitored and inspected by the block level officers to check where the schools are defying the government's orders and conducting the classes during these five days. The minister's statement has come at a high time when the Central government has allowed the re-opening of schools for classes from 9 to 12 from September 21.
The Center has said that the students from classes 9 to 12 can attend the schools voluntarily to take guidance from the teachers. They have to attend the schools only after obtaining written consent from their parents and guardian.
