TN Health Minister Ma Subramanian goes for a brief hospitalization in Chennai: Here's what happened!

Tamil Nadu Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Ma Subramanian had endured a brief hospitalization on Wednesday - August 30 in Chennai following a health setback. 64-year-old Subramanian is known for his physical agility and also for his initiatives for physical well-being. He was elected from the Saidapet constituency as a DMK MLA to the assembly and due to his involvement in Marathons, he is often hailed as a Marathon Man. 

According to reports, after completing his routine morning walk, Subramanian was into his official business in the morning hours of Wednesday during which he developed a health complication. He was initially rushed to Kalaignar Centenary Hospital in Guindy and then, he was taken to Government Omandurar Multi-specialty hospital for further treatments.

The minister had complained of dizziness and he also underwent a coronary angiogram procedure. Hours after the procedure, he was discharged from the hospital and sent home. There were no significant blocks found in his heart and he was advised to be in rest until getting a complete recovery. 

According to a medical bulletin issued by the hospital, Ma Subramanian felt dizzy while meeting visitors after his morning walk on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. Following this, he was immediately taken to the Kalaignar Centenary Super Specialty Hospital, Guindy where he underwent tests.

The bulletin further said that based on the test results and evaluation, he was taken to the Government Omandurar Hospital for a coronary angiogram. The angiogram found no significant blocks in the heart. Following a decision that adequate treatment was provided, the Minister returned home at 2.10 pm.
