TN local body polls: These women prove that the age doesn't matter!

The counting of the votes polled in the rural local bodies underway in the state of Tamil Nadu since Thursday morning as the results have been revealing the strongholds and the rise of the independent candidates- particularly women who gave a real fight to the state political parties and its candidates as the heat is on between the rivals to hold the local bodies that have been vacant for the past three years.

As the counting in the rural bodies in 27 districts has neared it's halfway, the results which have been declared had certainly divulged the truth that the age doesn't matter for serving the people and the age didn't hold the importance that the commitment and the victory of a 79-year-old elder woman and a 21-year-old young woman holds the testament of serving the people regardless of the age.  A 79-year-old elder woman Veerammal from Madurai district has won the election and declared as the President of Panchayat.
