In a shocking incident, a septuagenarian from Salem, Tamil Nadu had faced an episode of nightmare after his own brother had kept him inside the freezer box, assuming that he was dead. The 74-year-old had later rescued by his relatives and rushed to the hospital for further treatments.
The awkward incident had happened in the evening hours of October 12. According to reports, 74-year-old Balasubramania Kumar is a resident of Kandhampatti in Salem district, Tamil Nadu and he was living with his younger brother Saravanan. On October 12, Saravanan had called the company, that provides freezer box, to deliver one to his home after he assumed that his brother had died.
After getting the freezer box, Saravanan and his family members had kept Balasubramania Kumar inside the freezer box and announced that he had passed away. The presumed to be deceased was put in a freezer box overnight and the next day, it came to the revelation that Balasubramania Kumar is still alive. The reports say the company, which provided the freezer box, had come to take back the box during which the staff saw that Balasubramania Kumar was still alive and breathing.

Following the development, the staff of the freezer box company had alerted the neighbors and officials that the septuagenarian is still alive. Balasubramania Kumar was rescued by his neighbors and he was immediately taken to the Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College Hospital in Salem by ambulance and he has been getting treated currently.
The visuals from the spot had shockingly shown that the 74-year-old was breathing inside the freezer box when his brother claimed that his soul hasn't gone yet. The development has occupied headlines on how the deadman become alive and after the revelation, neighbors had castigated Balasubramania Kumar's brother Saravanan on the way he treated his own brother as the latter didn't show up to the hospital and declared his brother dead.
In a video that was surfacing across social media concerning the development, Balasubramania Kumar can be seen breathing inside the freezer box. With no relatives around, his brother Saravanan can he heard making shocking claims. Saravanan said that his brother had already died and when the man with the camera asked how his hands are still trembling, Saravanan can be heard saying it was seizures.
When the cameraman asks how Balasubramania Kumar can suffer seizures if he's already dead, Saravanan casually says that his soul has not left him yet. However, following the shocking development, the neighbors informed the police after which Sooramangalam police personnel had arrived at the septuagenarian house and probed the relatives about the incident. The police had rescued Kumar and sent him to the government hospital for further treatments. The probe has shocking revealed that Kumar's family had waited for death.
With the bizarre drama, Saravanan and his family members had invited trouble after the police department had booked a case against them under sections 287 - negligent conduct to endanger human life and 336 - act endangering life or personal safety of others of the Indian Penal Code.
