Trending Buzz: Ajith's Viswasam is getting Telugu remake...this Tollywood veteran star to lead the family entertainer!

Viswaasam, directed by Siruthai Siva and released in 2019, was a wholesome family entertainer which made a huge box office success. The film's lead actors, Ajith, Nayanthara, and Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu, Anika played the crucial roles. Now there has been enticing buzz that the family entertainer is getting a Telugu remake, and the Tollywood iconic megatsar to reprise the ultimate star's role.

The movie Waltair Veerayya , which mega star's fans have been waiting for for many days was released in a grand manner on January 13 as a Sankranti gift. There are now widespread rumours that Chiranjeevi is in talks to star in the Telugu remake. Viswasam, starring Ajith Kumar, is speculated to be getting a Telugu remake directed by VV Vinayak. Megastar Chiranjeevi is expected to reprise Ajith's role in the film. However the actor is still need to ink the dotted lines.

It's worth noting that the megastar is already shooting for the remake of Ajith's Vedhalam, in Telugu titled Bhola Shankar which has Tamannaah Bhatia as the female lead, and Keerthy Suresh is playing the younger sister in this movie. This film is being produced by Ramabraham Sunkara under the banner of AK Entertainments in collaboration with Creative Commercials under the direction of Meher Ramesh.

Apart from Telugu, earlier it was reported that Manish Shah bought the rights to remake Viswasam in Hindi a while back.  Actors Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn reportedly turned down the lead role in the film's remake. The actors reportedly claimed that the film's plot was inappropriate for a Hindi audience. Now It is said that the announcement about this Telugu adaptation will be released very soon. And the buzz claims that the film may release next year during the Pongal festival.

In the original Viswasam, starring Ajith, the chieftain Thookku Durai and his wife Niranjana split after their daughter Swetha is injured in an argument that he is blamed for. Now, many years later, he's trying to keep Swetha safe from an impending threat without letting on that he's the one protecting her. D Imman scored the film, which Sathya Jyothi Films bankrolled. In addition, the film's music director took home the 67th National Film Award for Best Music in a Motion Picture.
