The star, who is currently busy with two big projects, has reportedly signed a film with director Vinayak Chandrasekaran, who made his debut with the critically acclaimed ‘Good Night’.
‘Good Night’ is a comedy-drama film that revolves around a man who suffers from snoring and how it affects his personal and professional life. The film, which released on May, received positive reviews from critics and audiences alike. The film features Manikandan, Meetha Raghunath, Ramesh Thilak, Raichal Rabecca, Balaji Sakthivel, and Bagavathi Perumal in the lead roles.
According to sources, Sivakarthikeyan was impressed by Vinayak’s script and narration and agreed to work with him. Sivakarthikeyan is currently shooting for ‘SK21’, a military-themed film produced by Kamal Haasan and directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy. The film has music by G.V. Prakash Kumar and stars Sai Pallavi as the female lead. Sivakarthikeyan will also start working on ‘SK22’, a spy thriller directed by A.R. Murugadoss, which will feature Mrunal Thakur, Mohanlal, and Vidyut Jamwal in important roles. The film is slated to begin by the end of this year.
