Trending Buzz: Is this Thunivu and Varisu's FDFS timing? Here's what we know

It's three days ahead of the release of Ajith and Vijay's Thunivu and Varisu which are competing for audiences during this year's Pongal. Fans have begun their celebration for their idol's screen show. The arrival of the films featuring their favorite celebrities has fans anticipating a fairground holiday celebration. The movie teams have confirmed the release date, but FDFS show times have not yet been determined, and many sources already have the timings.

Thunivu helmed by H.Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios, whereas Varisu produced by Sri Venkateswara creation of Dil Raju, helmed by Vamshi Paidipally. The most recent developments involve the FDFS scheduling of Ajith's movie Thunivu for a 1.00 am showing and Vijay's movie Varisu for a 4.00 am showing on 11th January 2023. Red Giant Movies bagged the theatre distribution rights for Thunivu, and Seven Screen Studios along with Red Giant Movies will distribute Vijay's Varisu.

The trailers for these films were recently released, and it was a blast among the idols. Within the first 24 hours of after its release on New Year's Eve, the "Thunivu" trailer had amassed 25 million updated views on the video streaming platform and 1.1 million likes, whereas "Varisu" had amassed over 23 million views and 1.8 million likes. The censor board gave Thunivu a UA rating and a runtime of 2 hours and 26 minutes, while Vijay starrer Varisu, has a runtime of 2 hours and 49 minutes. The CBFC board recently gave it a U rating.

While While Vijay plays the lead role, it also stars Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Yogi Babu, Jayasudha, Sangeetha Krish, Shaam, Srikanth, and Samyuktha Shanmughanathan in important roles in Varisu, which is to be released as Vaaris in Hindi, and Vaarusudu in Telugu. Ajith, Manju Warrier plays the lead, Samuthirakani, Prem, Sundaram, John Kokkhen, Bucks, Amir, Pavani Reddy, and Cibi Bhuvan in pivotal roles of Thunivu, which is titled as Thegimpu in Telugu.
