RJ Balaji, the actor and comedian who is known for his witty and quirky roles, is gearing up for his latest film 'Singapore Saloon', which will hit the screens tomorrow, January 25. The film, directed by Gokul, is a comedy-drama that revolves around Balaji's character, an engineer who dreams of becoming a hairstylist and sets up his own saloon in Singapore.

The film promises to be a fun-filled ride with a lot of twists and turns, as Balaji faces various hurdles and conflicts in his personal and professional life. The film also features a stellar cast of actors, such as Kishen Das, Sathyaraj, Lal, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Ann Sheetal, Thalaivasal Vijay, John Vijay, Robo Shankar and others, who play important roles in Balaji's journey.

In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, RJ Balaji spilled the beans on his desire to work with  Vijay, who is one of the most popular and successful actors in Tamil cinema. He said that he had narrated a script to Vijay a few years ago, before he acted in 'Varisu' and 'Leo', and that Vijay had liked the script and said that he would consider it later.

However, RJ Balaji joked that Vijay had said that they would work in April, but he had forgotten to ask which April. He also said that he would love to work with Vijay and that it would take him at least six months to write a script for him. It would be interesting to see Vijay in his vision, as he is known for making quirky, witty and family-friendly films.

Meanwhile, Vijay is busy with GOAT, directed by Venkat Prabhu and composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, is produced by AGS Entertainment. The film has a stellar ensemble cast that includes PrabhuDeva, Prashanth, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chowdry, Ajmal, Mic Mohan, Jayaram, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Vaibhav, Premji, Aravind Akash and Ajay Raj.
