Pradeep Ranganathan, the director of the blockbuster comedy Comali, and Love Today is all set to join hands with Ashwath Marimuthu, the young filmmaker who impressed everyone with his debut film ‘Oh My Kadavulae’. The duo is reportedly working on a new project that will be produced by AGS Entertainment, the banner behind ‘Love Today’.
According to sources, Pradeep and Ashwath have been discussing the script for a while and have finalized the genre and the cast. The film is expected to be a fun-filled entertainer with a fresh twist. Pradeep will start shooting for this film after he completes his ongoing project ‘LIC’ directed by Vignesh Shivan, which stars him in the lead role.
The official announcement of Pradeep-Ashwath film is likely to be made soon by the makers. The fans of both the directors are eagerly waiting for this exciting collaboration, which promises to be a treat for the audience.
Meanwhile the makers of LIC, recently held a pooja launch ceremony. The film also has Krithi Shetty as the female lead and SJ Suryah in a notable role. The film's technical team includes renowned cinematographer Ravi Varman and editor Pradeep E Ragav. Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio, known for backing Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Leo,' is helming the production.
