Trending: Salaar slays the box office, crosses whopping collection in four days

The much-awaited film Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire has lived up to the hype and expectations of the fans and critics alike. The film, which released on December 22, has emerged as a blockbuster hit, smashing several records and creating new ones.

The film, which stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles, is a high-octane action thriller that revolves around the conflict on the throne in Kansar city . The film is directed by Prashanth Neel, who is known for his previous hit KGF.

Salaar faced tough competition from Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback film Dunki, which also released on the same day. However, Salaar managed to dominate the screens and the audience’s hearts with its story, gripping background score, and powerful performances of both actors.

According to the trade reports, Salaar has crossed the Rs 250-crore mark in India in just four days of its release. The film collected Rs 42.50 crore net on December 25, taking its total domestic collection to Rs 251.60 crore. The film is also doing well in the overseas markets, especially in the USA, UAE, and Australia.

The makers of Salaar are ecstatic with the response and have thanked the fans for their love and support. They have also announced that the second part of the film, Salaar: Part 2 - War, will release in 2024.Salaar is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films, which has also produced the KGF series.

The film has cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda, editing by Ujwal Kulkarni, music by Ravi Basrur, and stunts by Anbarivu.  The film has received rave reviews from critics and fans alike, who have praised the performances, direction, screenplay, music, and action of the film.
