In an exciting development for fans, the rumour mill is in full swing about the characters of much-awaited Rajinikanth starrer 'Jailer', directed by Nelson Dhilipkumar. The movie has already generated a lot of buzz among Rajini fans and moviebuffs alike, and the latest leak about the film's characters has only added to the excitement. The team is currently shooting for massive action stunt scene as per reports. Earlier the rumour is that Jailer will be released in theatres on Diwali 2023.

According to sources, Rajinikanth is reportedly playing the role of a retired jailer in 'Jailer', while Ramya Krishnan will be seen as his wife. The film also stars Vasant Ravi as an IPS officer, Tamannaah and Sunil as actors, and many others. The shooting of the film has reached the final stage and the film is expected to be wrapped up in April, and fans can expect a energetic performance once again from the Superstar.

The plot revolves around a feared gangster and his men who plot to escape from prison but are foiled by a strict jailer. The story revolves around the jailor's attempts to thwart the gang's plan. 'Jailer' is a mega multistarrer featuring Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Sunil, Tamannaah, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Ramya Krishnan, Mirna, and others. The music for the film is being composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

With such a star-studded cast and a talented director at the helm, fans are eagerly anticipating the release of 'Jailer'. After Jailer, Rajinikanth will began working for TJ Gnanvel, where the flick will be a social drama based on real life incident. And Notably the actor will be doing two films under Lyca Productions. He also will seen in a brief portions for Lal Salaam which is being helmed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth.
