Despite having directed critically acclaimed films like Ghajini, Thuppakki, and Kaththi, A. R. Murugadoss stalled for a while after Darbar in 2020 which starred Superstar Rajinikanth. Eventhough he had planned a next project with Vijay after their winning combos Thuppaki, Katthi, and Sarkar, but the venture never got off the ground. As of late, rumours have surfaced suggesting that the Prince actor will take part in A R Murugadoss's next film.
According to the most recent rumours, the acclaimed director is making a strong comeback and he is in talks with Siva Karthikeyan for the lead. It is anticipated that a formal announcement regarding the film will be made within the next few days. According to the reports, the movie will be made in trilingual—Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. It is speculated that the movie's producer will be B Madhu's production banner Light House Movie Makers.
Both A.R. Murugadoss's most recent film, Darbar, and Sivakarthikeyan's most recent collaboration, Prince, have received a diverse range of responses from critics. Now, the reports indicate that after Sivakarthikeyan finishes filming Maaveeran with Madonne Ashwin, he will next work with Murugadoss. However, this is a strong rumour that needs to be confirmed by the makers.
Murugadoss had become well-known for making films that also imparted a message to the audience about social issues. It is anticipated that his upcoming film starring Sivakarthikeyan will be successful in the same manner as the director's previous two films, Thuppaki and Ghajini, which were both remade into Hindi belt and became blockbuster films in Bollywood and his last Telugu debut Spyder starred Mahesh Babu well performed in Tollywood too.
Kollywood sources also has that Sivakarthikeyan earlier in talks with the director Harish Shankar and producer Dil Raju of the Vijay starrer Varisu, which is yet to confirm. And the actor, who is currently awaiting the release of Ayalaan, and he is currently working on a number of exciting projects simultaneously. The movie, which is being billed as a science fiction, is scheduled to hit theatres the the next year. In addition to that, the actor also signed a film with Kamal Haasan's production company, Raaj Kamal Films International, where Sai Pallavi is said to be play the female role in the production, and director Rajkumar Periasamy will helm the project.
