Iconic actor Vijay is awaiting the release of the movie 'Varisu', which has been slated to hit the theatres during the Pongal 2023. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally of Maharishi and Oopiri fame, Varisu is touted to be an out-and-out family entertainer. The recent first single, Ranjithame, which was out a few days ago, has been ruling the playlist since its release.

Now the latest talk that has been surfacing on the internet says that popular actor Simbu will sing a song in Varisu. Ranjithame made in the trending list, as it's the fusion of both modern beats and peppy treats for the music lovers. The released lyric video featured Thalapathy Vijay and his co-star, Rashmika Mandanna, in vibrant costumes

Ranjithame was sung by Vijay and MM Manasi while the lyrics were penned by Vivek. After the song relished a massive hit, the movie's choreographer Jani master recently spilled beans about the second single. He wrote, "Keep your expectations high!" for the next song from Varisu. In what has become the talk of the town, Thalapathy Vijay's next song from "Varisu," will feature Silambarasan TR's singing.

It is a well-known fact that Thaman, who is composing the film's soundtrack, is a close friend of STR. The songs Mangalyam from Easwaran and "You're my darling" from Vaalu, both composed by S Thaman, were previously performed by Simbu, and had been the viral hit among fans. Fans of both actors are extremely excited about this development, as the first single has already smashed the internet and amassed over 65 million views and it is the first time that Simbu will be singing for Vijay.

Varisu is bankrolled by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations and Vijay plays the lead role, Rashmika Mandanna, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Sarathkumar, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Khushbu, and Sangeetha Krish play important roles.
