Kollywood is abuzz over the news of successful Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj casting KGF hero Yash in his forthcoming project. Lokesh Kanagaraj's work has always been a penchant for film enthusiasts. The latest buzz is that Yash will be joining hands with the Vikram director after completing his current project under Hombale Films next and that the actor is all set to give his dates to the young filmmaker in  2023.

The fame of actor Yash knows no bounds. He's getting offers from major makers. He previously collaborated with Prashanth Neel on the KGF film series, a high-budget historical drama. On the other hand, Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is currently writing for Thalapathy 67 and is rumoured to be choosing Yash for the latter's next feature, which is the latest update gained from the Kollywood town. 

Additionally, it is claimed that this movie will have a huge budget and be an outstanding action movie. After Thalapathy 67 is over, sources claim that KGF star Yash will team up with Lokesh Kanagaraj for a 2023 film. However, this matter has not yet received any official confirmation. Lokesh Kanagaraj's most recent project was 'Vikram' in which he directed Kamal Haasan and it was a humongous box office success. 

His previous film, Kaithi, Master, also aided the young director to garner enough limelight. Industry insiders claim that production on Vijay's Thalapathy 67 helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj will begin at the end of 2022. According to rumours, Lalit Kumar will oversee production for the film through his Seven Screen Studios label.

Anirudh will be composing the music for this project while Ratnakumar will be penning the screenplay. The movie will be a high-octane gangster flick in which Vijay will probably play a role of a 50-year-old gangster who will be squaring off with six villains.
