Trending Update: P. Vasu's Chadramukhi 2 release date is here!

In a delightful turn of events, the esteemed creators behind the phenomenal comedy horror flick Chandramukhi, have now thrilled fans by unveiling the release date of its sequel, Chandramukhi 2.

The makers of Chandramukhi 2, Lyca Productions, have announced by took to Twitter and penned, "We are thrilled to announce that the doors to the much awaited sequel Chandramukhi 2  will be open from Ganesh Chaturthi  Releasing in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam & Kannada!”.

As per the update, the film will hit the screens on Ganesh Chaturthi, which falls on September 1, 2023. The film will be released in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages. They also shared a new poster that showcases the talented actor, Raghava Lawrence, adorned in an enigmatic ensemble, as he dares to peek through the doors of the most famous and mystifying Chandramukhi's room.

Chandramukhi 2 is directed by P Vasu, who helmed the first part as well. The film stars Kangana Ranaut as the female lead, along with Vadivelu, Radika Sarathkumar and Lakshmi Menon in pivotal roles. The film has music by Oscar winner M M Keeravani and cinematography by R D Rajasekar. The origin film is remake of the Kannada film Apthamitra (2004), which was also remade in Telugu as Nagavalli (2010).

The production of Chandramukhi 2 was wrapped up on June 20th. The team posed for a photo after completing the shoot and expressed their excitement for the fans to experience it on the big screen. Chandramukhi 2 is expected to be a visual treat for horror lovers and a laughter riot for comedy fans. The film will also showcase the stunning performance of Kangana Ranaut as Chandramukhi, who is possessed by a vengeful spirit.

Chandramukhi 2 is one of the most awaited films of 2023 and promises to be a grand spectacle for the audience. The film will also be Kangana Ranaut’s second Tamil film after Thalaivi (2021), which was a biopic of former Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa.
