Trending Update: Pizza 3: The Mummy to be released on this date! Makers share the exciting news

Pizza is back for round three with their new horror film The Mummy. The fantastic news of film's release date was announced on social media platform by makers. Production company Thirukumaran Entertainments, which has also backed the director's previous two features bankrolling this one. A teaser video was released that paid homage to the first two films in the series, which only added the intrigue, as how the third film will have the chilling setting and premise.

Pizza 3: The Mummy is directed by Mohan Govind and stars a talented cast, Ashwin Kakumanu, Pavithrah Marimuthu, Gaurav Narayanan, Abhishek Shankar, Kaali Venkat, Anupama Kumar, Raveena Daha, Abi Nakshatra, Kuraishi, Yogi & Subiksha in lead roles. The second film Pizza 2: Villa also starred Ashwin Kakumanu in the lead role. However the film was supposed to release last year. But postponed for unknown reasons, and the makers also released the film's teaser in 2021.

The teaser video showed some glimpses of the previous films that were well-received by the audience for their cutting-edge storytelling and plot twists. As like the second film, the third the Mummy will have a new storyline as well, promises to be an exciting ride with new story and characters, as hinted in the teaser video.

The movie boasts of an impressive technical crew, including DOP Prabu Rhagav, music director Arun Raj, and editor Ignatious Aswin. The film promises to offer a unique horror experience with a gripping storyline, high-quality visuals, and haunting music. The makers have announced that the movie will be released in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.

The first film Pizza (2012) was written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj and starred Vijay Sethupathi as a pizza delivery boy who gets trapped in a haunted house. The second film Pizza 2: Villa (2013) was written and directed by Deepan Chakravarthy and starred Ashok Selvan as a writer who finds his future predicted by a series of paintings in an old mansion.
