After Nag Ashwin's Nadigayar Thilagam, in which Keerthy Suresh starred, comes Project K. The untitled film is a science fiction venture. The highly-anticipated, massive-scale project that will feature a cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Bahubali star Prabhas. The film's crew now has the latest red hot deets on the film's release date.According to many sources, the film to be titled as Kalki, a reference to the Hindu God's incarnation avatar for the actor.

Today, February 18, the stars of the film dropped a new poster with the tagline that read, 'The world is waiting'. Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan wrote, "T 4561 - 12-1-24 it is! #ProjectK Happy Mahashivratri". Deepika also shared the new poster by taking us to Instagram and simply wrote, "12.1.2024 #ProjectK Happy Mahashivratri! #Prabhas | @SrBachchan | @nagashwin7 | @VyjayanthiFilms" The film marks the first collaboration for Prabhas to share screen with Deepika Padukone.

The enticing poster features a apocalyptic deserted theme land where three brave warriors taking steps closer to the mysterious surreal spot. As per the update, the film will be released on 12th January 2024. lMickey J Meyer is composing the score, while Dani Sanchez Lopez is the cinematographer on the film. The film is being shot in both Telugu and Hindi at the same time by Vyjayanthi Movies. And it will be a Pan Indian release dubbed in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam along with Telugu and Hindi.

Production on the film's futuristic set, built at Hyderabad's Ramoji Film City, kicked off in July 2021. The film said to be  made on a whopping 500 crore budget. Prabhas will be seen next in Salaar, directed by KGF fame Prashanth Neel which will be out in September 2023, and Adipurush directed by Om Raut will be out in June 2023 as it postponed after trolled for its unsatisfied response of the released teaser.
