RJ Balaji, the multi-talented actor, comedian and filmmaker, is all set to entertain the audience with his upcoming film ‘Singapore Saloon’. The film, which is directed by Gokul of ‘Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara’ fame, has been announced to release in July this year. The film was initially planned to release in summer, but got delayed due to the production issues.

‘Singapore Saloon’ features RJ Balaji as a hairstylist who runs a saloon in Singapore. The film is said to be a fun-filled family entertainer with a lot of comedy and emotions. The film also marks the second acting debut of Lokesh Kanagaraj, the blockbuster director of ‘Master’ and ‘Kaithi’, who will be seen in a cameo role along with actor Jiiva.

The film has an ensemble star cast that includes veteran actors Sathyaraj and Lal, Robo Shankar, Shivani Rajashekar, Meenakshi Chaudhary and Ann Sheetal in important roles. The music for the film is composed by Vivek Mervin, while the cinematography is handled by M Sukumar. The film is produced by Dr. Ishari K Ganesh under his banner Vels Film International.

The makers of ‘Singapore Saloon’ have unveiled a new breezy poster of the film to confirm the release date. The poster shows RJ Balaji and his co-stars posing happily in front of a saloon. The poster also reveals the full star cast and crew of the film.

RJ Balaji, who was last seen in the edgy thriller ‘Run Baby Run’, will be returning to his trademark comedy in ‘Singapore Saloon’. The actor has delivered four successful films as a lead so far, including ‘LKG’ and ‘Mookuthi Amman’. He is also working on another film titled ‘Japan’, which is directed by Raju Murugan.

‘Singapore Saloon’ is expected to be a laugh riot that will appeal to all sections of the audience. The film will face a tough competition at the box office as it will clash with Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Maaveeran’ and Jayam Ravi’s ‘Iraivan’, which are also slated to release in July.
