In an exciting development, a new film set against the backdrop of pre-independence fervour, Sasikumar and 'Jai Bhim' sensation Lijomol Jose is teaming up for a compelling new movie directed by Sathyasiva, the creative force behind 'Kazhugu'. Titled 'Freedom', the film is slated for release on August 14, aligning with the celebration of Independence Day on August 15, 2024.

The unveiling of the first look and title poster has stirred anticipation, offering a thematic glimpse into the pre-independence era. Sasikumar and Lijomol Jose, both adorned with intense expressions, dominate the poster, reflecting a quest for justice that only intensifies their determination to fight. 

Behind the scenes, the film boasts a stellar technical team, featuring Ghibran as the music composer, NS Uthayakumar as the director of Cinematography, NB Srikanth as the editor, and C Uthayakumar as the art director. This collaborative effort promises to bring a visual and auditory treat to fans.

'Freedom' transcends state boundaries, as it is also set to be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. The actor is also seen next in Garudan, who starred along with Soori, Samuthirakani, and Unni Mukundhan, directed by  R.S. Durai Senthilkumar.
