Trending Update: The second single from Superstar Rajinikanth's Jailer is here!

After the first song from the Superstar Rajinikanth's next Jailer, titled “Kaavaala”, was released last week and became an instant hit among the fans. The song was sung by Shilpa Rao, and featured Tamannaah Bhatia, where the lyric penned by Arunraja Kamaraj. The film directed by Nelson Dhilipkumar, bankrolling by Sun Pictures.

Now makers shared the update on the second song from Rajinikanth’s upcoming action comedy film Jailer is all set to be released today at 6 pm, as announced by the film’s production house, as they took to Twitter and  wrote, "Superstar Sambhavam loading #JailerSecondSingle update tomorrow @ 6pm !"

The song is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who has previously collaborated with Rajinikanth in Petta and Darbar. Jailer is one of the most anticipated films of 2023, as it marks the 169th film of Rajinikanth, who plays the titular role of Muthuvel Pandian, a strict and experienced jailer who has to deal with a gang of prisoners who try to escape from his prison.

The film is written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, who is known for his hit films Kolamavu Kokila and Doctor. The film also boasts of a star-studded cast, including Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar, Sunil, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan, Mirnaa Menon, and Tamannaah Bhatia.

The film’s shooting began in August 2022 in Chennai and wrapped up in June 2023. The film was shot in various locations across India, including Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Goa. The film’s budget is estimated to be around ₹200 crore, making it one of the most expensive films in Indian cinema. The film is scheduled to release on 10 August 2023 in theatres worldwide.

Jailer is expected to be a treat for the fans of Rajinikanth, who has been entertaining the audience for over four decades with his unique style. The film is also expected to showcase his versatility as an actor, as he plays a different role from his usual heroic characters. Jailer is also a milestone film for Rajinikanth, as it marks his 169th film in his illustrious career.
