Trending Update: Vignesh Shivan drop the awaiting update on his next film LIC!

Vignesh Shivan, the acclaimed director of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan and Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, is back with his next project, LIC (Love Insurance Corporation). The film, which stars Pradeep Ranganathan, the actor-director of Comali, and Love Today in the lead role, is said to be a romantic comedy with a twist. The film also features Nayanthara, Seeman, Krithi Shetty and SJ Suryah in pivotal roles.

According to reports, the shooting of the film has commenced in Isha Yoga Centre, Coimbatore, and three days of work have been wrapped up. The film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who has collaborated with Vignesh Shivan in all his previous films. The film is produced by Lalit Kumar under the banner of Seven Screen Studios.

Vignesh Shivan took to his Instagram account to share a glimpse of the shooting location and his team. He posted a picture of himself with cinematographer Ravi Varman, who is known for his stunning visuals in acclaimed films. He captioned the picture, “Working with the best  without any rest @r_varman_ #LOveInsuranceCorp #IshaYoga #coimbotore” (sic).

The film’s title, LIC, has sparked curiosity among fans, as it is also the acronym of the popular Life Insurance Corporation of India. The makers have not revealed much about the plot of the film, but it is speculated that it will have something to do with time travel premise related to mobile technology. Reports also suggest that Nayanthara will play a sister role to Pradeep, and actor-politician Seeman will play important role in the film.

LIC is expected to be a fun-filled entertainer with a dose of romance and humour. The film will mark the first collaboration of Vignesh Shivan and Pradeep Ranganathan, who are both known for their quirky and innovative style of filmmaking. The film will also showcase the chemistry of Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty, who made her debut in the Telugu blockbuster Uppena. The film’s release date and other details are yet to be announced.
