Trending Update: Vijay Antony's debut directorial Pichaikaaran 2 release date is here!

Vijay Antony, who has established himself as a multifaceted talent in the Tamil film industry, is all set to release his directorial debut 'Pichaikkaran 2'.The film has been bringing in a lot of attention ever since the musician-actor-director shared a sneak peek video from the film. The intriguing video has left the audience wondering about the plot, which is said to revolve around the concept of brain transplant.

Taking to Twitter on Monday evening, Vijay Antony shared a captivating poster and revealed that the film will be hit theatres on April 14th 2023. He wrote, " "Do you want to see a mass beggar from Dubai Visit theaters near you on April 14th".The first part of the film revolves around a rich businessman who turns a beggar into an entreaty after his mother becomes comatose.

Fans are eagerly waiting for the film's release to see Vijay Antony's directorial skills and his performance on the big screen. The film's music and editing, also been handled by Vijay Antony himself, is also expected to be a major highlight of the film. The team is currently in the final stages of post-production and is gearing up for a grand release on Tamil New Year's Day.

The second part of the film goes by the title 'Anti Bikili'. While Vijay Antony plays the lead, Kavya Thapar, Dato Radha Ravi, Y G Mahendran, Mansoor Ali Khan, Hareesh Peradi, John Vijay, Dev Gill, Yogi Babu play pivotal roles. Pichaikaran 2 will be presented by Vijay Antony Film Corporation and Fatima Vijay Antony. The satellite rights have been brought by Vijay Tv and Disney+Hotstar purchased the post theatrical rights.

On the same day, a Telugu version of the film titled "Bichagadu2" will be released. Om Narayanan done the cinematography, Rajasekar, Mahesh Mathew handled the action stunts. The story penned by K Palani, Paul Antony along with Vijay Antony. The actor also has Kolai, Tamilarasan, Ratham, Agni Siragugal, Valli Mayil, and Khaki in his pipeline.
