Suriya expressed his excitement and passion for the league and his team, saying, “Vanakkam Chennai! I am beyond electrified to announce the ownership of our Team Chennai in ISPLT10. To all the cricket enthusiasts, let’s create a legacy of sportsmanship, resilience, and cricketing excellence together.”

Suriya’s announcement has created a huge buzz among his fans and cricket lovers, who are eagerly waiting to see his team in action. Suriya will be joining the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Ram Charan, Akshay Kumar, and Hrithik Roshan, who are the owners of the Mumbai, Telangana, Jammu & Kashmir, and Bengaluru teams respectively. The other teams are based in Delhi, Kolkata, and Punjab.

The ISPLT10 is a unique concept that blends the thrill of tennis cricket with the glamour of the T10 format. The league will feature 10-over matches, with each team playing seven league matches, followed by playoffs and a grand finale.
