The ‘Arjun Reddy’ star Vijay Deverakonda has finally put an end to the speculations about his engagement with his co-star Rashmika Mandanna. In a recent interview with Lifestyle Asia, the actor revealed that he is not getting engaged or married in February, as some reports had claimed. He also expressed his frustration with the constant media attention on his personal life, saying that he feels like the press just wants to get him married every two years.

“I am not getting engaged or married in February. It feels like the press just wants to get me married every two years. I hear this rumour every year. They’re just walking around waiting to catch me and get me married,” he said.

The actor, who has shared screen space with Rashmika Mandanna in films like ‘Geetha Govindam’ and ‘Dear Comrade’, also spoke about his upcoming projects. On the movie front, he is working on two films, ‘Family Star’ and ‘VD 12’. He was last seen in ‘Kushi’, a romantic comedy directed by Shiva Nirvana.

The engagement rumours had started after some reports suggested that the two stars were planning to tie the knot in the second week of February, with the consent of their families. The earlier reports also claimed that the preparations for the engagement ceremony were already underway. However, Vijay Deverakonda has now dismissed these rumours as false.

Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna, who recently graced the screen in Animal directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is gearing up for releases including Pushpa 2, Rainbow, and her second Telugu venture with Dhanush under Sekar Kammula's direction.
