'Vijay is listening, but Ajith is not': A big demand to actor Ajith...Will there be a change?

After the commercial success of 'Valimai', actor Ajith is currently busy with his next outing with the Valimai team and as the shooting for AK 61 has been underway, the shooting schedule has sparked anger in Tamil Nadu. The actor has been surfaced with a big demand from the film employees federation, which, besides slamming Ajith, is hoping for a change.

Ajith's next, tentatively named AK 61, has been bankrolled by Boney Kapoor and helmed by H Vinoth. Ajith will be playing a negative role and shooting has been taking place in Hyderabad. This is where the federation has flayed the movie team as consistent shootings outside Tamil Nadu would affect the cinema workers in the state. The federation has now demanded Ajith and the movie team conduct the movie shooting in Chennai.

On Tuesday- May 3, RK Selvamani, the Chief of the Film Employees Federation of South India, has said that the shooting of Ajith's film shouldn't take place in Hyderabad. Selvamani said, "Conducting the shooting continuously in Hyderabad will affect the workers of the federation in Chennai. So, the movie shooting has to be done in Chennai." He cited that several workers in Chennai are facing economical distress due to Ajith.

Selvamani said that actor Vijay is listening to them but Ajith is not. The veteran director noted that Vijay has spoken with the producer of Thalapathy 66 and asked to conduct the shooting in Chennai too with the view of the welfare of the Tamil workers. However, Ajith hasn't done that and he is continuously conducting the movie shootings in Hyderabad.

Selvamani said, "Our demand for Ajith is that he should work to conduct the shooting of his movie in Chennai. Several workers are getting affected because of conducting shootings in Hyderabad. This is our demand to the people like Boney Kapoor also." Meanwhile, the recent reports had said that Ajith will be playing the dual role in the movie and Rakul Preet Singh is said to be playing the female lead. The shooting has been scheduled to wrap by October.
