Relishing news for the ardent Thalapathy fans...Vijay's 'Beast' has got back to action on Thursday, nearly ten days after the release of the movie posters that went viral on social media. The movie team has resumed the shooting and hit the floors in Chennai. As Beast is in the classy making, the news about the shooting resumption had welcomed and celebrated by the fans as they get closer to witness their Thalapathy back on the big screens as Beast. 

According to reports close to the developments, the shooting for Beast had resumed in Chennai's Sri Gokulam Studios on Thursday. A massive set was erected in the studios and the team had begun the shooting with the dance sequence. The sequence will be choreographed by Jani Master and this schedule is expected to happen for the next twenty days and the team will be taking a short break after the schedule. 

The sequence would be featuring Vijay and Pooja Hegde, the female lead in the movie. Through Beast, Hegde has made a significant comeback to Kollywood after eight years. Hegde had arrived in Chennai on Wednesday from Hyderabad to take part in the shooting. The shooting has resumed after months of being suspended in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The first schedule had earlier held in Georgia. Vijay had gone to Georgia and was there for nearly a month and the second wave of the pandemic was at its peak when he arrived in Chennai. In the wake of the lockdown and restrictions, the movie shooting was halted and put the fans under speculations over when the shooting will resume. Amid the suspension, the movie team had relished the fans by releasing the official movie name and posters. 

The movie name and posters were unveiled during Vijay's birthday and ten days after the release of the posters, the shooting had resumed on Thursday, which rejoiced the fans. The reports say that the second schedule of the shooting would be kept at a steady pace like its preceding one and it has been expected that the movie team will complete the entire schedule of shooting in two months and would pack the Beast for the release. 

Beast is bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. While Vijay plays the lead role, Pooja Hegde will be playing the female lead. Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das, and Shine Tom Chacko will play important roles, and Anirudh will be composing the music. While the makers are yet to finalize the release date, fans speculate that the movie will be released during this year Diwali. However, it is less likely as Rajinikanth starred 'Annaatthe', which is also produced by Sun Pictures, has been slated for the Diwali release.
