Vijay's 'Master' is all set to go big...Exciting news for Thalapathy fans!

After unveiling a perfect Pongal treat for Tamil fans, actor Vijay is all set to rule Bollywood as 'Master' is ready to go big in two days of release. It's official that Vijay's grand comeback of 'Master' will be remade in Hindi.  

Endemol Shine India, Cine 1 studios, and 7 screens on Friday announced that they have acquired the rights to adapt Master in Hindi.  In a statement, Chief Executive of Endemol Shine India Abhishek Rege said, "Master is laced with masterful performances and powerful narrative that resonates with audiences across the country".  

Rege stated, "Master is the first major film from the Tamil industry to release in the pandemic and has received an overwhelming response from the audience. We are incredibly proud to have acquired the rights to such a hot property. We look forward to recreating the magic of this film to captivate the Hindi audience". 

Murad Khetani of Cine1 studios said, "We are proud to present the film to the audiences in the Hindi language". Khetani added that his company aims to support and deliver content-driven cinema. Movie critic and analyst Taran Adarsh also shared the news and he took to Twitter and said, "IT'S OFFICIAL... #MASTER #HINDI REMAKE... #Master - starring #Vijay and #VijaySethupathi - will now be remade in #Hindi... Endemol Shine India, Murad Khetani [Cine1 Studios], and 7 Screen Studio will produce the #Hindi adaptation... Casting for #Hindi remake will commence soon."

As Adarsh announced, the makers will soon start casting for the Hindi remake. Master was released on January 13 across and beyond the borders and the fans had given royal welcome to the movie in the theaters amid the Corona guidelines. Master has been dominating the box office in Tamil Nadu and on the first day of the release, it had earned Rs 25 crores in the state while it had banked Rs 40 crore on the second day. 

As the sequel of overwhelming reception and critics, Master has been shining both as a commercial entertainer and as a perfect Pongal treat to Vijay fans and to the theaters. The total budget of the movie was estimated at around Rs 135 crore and the collections on the first two days had become remarkable when the theaters are permitted with 50% seating capacity.  Along with dominating the box office in Tamil Nadu, Master is all set to become the top Tamil grosser in Australia as the movie has earned Rs 2.15 crore in the first two days.
